on the right track now
the sun came up in perfect pitch today
though i would never know, you see
i live in a room without windows

i live with lights created by electricity
not some majestic ball of fire in the sky
and if you're okay with that
then i'm okay with that

i can bend and waver to the breeze just so that i don't fall down
my skin turns black when the lights go out so that you can't see me if you tried
and in the sun
that mythical, magical fireball we all believe gives us life

i burn

pumped for:
-rescue tonight
-drinking beers with good people
-the fact that i decided to make a list before actually thinking about all the things i have to be pumped for, because i'm all out.

two things are better than nothings
