I woke up today and enjoyed the sound of church bells, steady rainfall and birds.
Adam is leaving in less than a week which means no more late-night guitar playing, no more dishes in the sink, no more alarm clock radios that steadly play all morning. But at the same time it's strange to think about never seeing him again.
I've already said good-bye to a lot of people. It's odd because I'm not leaving yet and they aren't either but somehow it becomes awkward. Having a class together there was some kind of shared purpose. But now classes are over. It's hard to hang out with someone you'll likely never see them again. But enough depressing stuff.
I'm going to Amsterdam! Strange, huh? Not really. I'm meeting my step-dad there on Friday. But Amsterdam to me isn't "coffee shops" and the Red Light District but Van Gogh and canal boat rides. It's gonna be cool!
Which also means that I desperately need to post my "Mom Visit" pics before I have even more pics to post! I know guys; I'll see what I can do.
