relaxing
Today has been an ok day. I have enjoyed my evening of quiet and relaxation. Although now the roommate is home and is blasting punk music...I really don't care now that I have my work done but I don't think the kitty appreciates it. I have finally finished my application for the manager position at work. I set up my computer at my desk (yay) and sat down and wrote a bunch of crap for the application. Not really crap, but the type of stuff people are supposed to write on job applications....standard stuff. So I made myself sound and look good and hopefully I will get the promotion. You know it's a good sign when the manager basically shoves the application in your face and says, "why isn't this filled out yet?" so I figured I better get a move on it.
I had a good, action-packed weekend. It seemed to go by way entirely too fast but that's the way things go. I didn't have any embarrassing episodes with making Jerry walk home this weekend, so that's always a plus. :) We got a couch for the apartment, I didn't have to work on Saturday because I have too much overtime, and I went out with Sara and Adrieanna on Friday night. All in all, a good weekend. I've been having lots of good weekends lately. yay
