I Love The Seasons
I thought I'd put my cheesy Literature poem in here for a while. Hope you like it!
I love the four seasons,
For many reasons.
Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall
I love the seasons,
I love them all.
Summer time brings back memories.
Up north by the campfire telling stories
Everybody’s out of school
It’s free time, swim in the pool
Eating watermelon and spitting the seeds,
Jumping on trampolines shooing away bees.
Staying up late.
Everything’s great.
Every weekend we’d stay at the lake.
Pack the car with everything we could take.
Tubing from the back of the boat,
And tanning on stuff that floats.
The sun is so bright
Everything is wonderful in sight.
That’s why I love Summer.
Fall time is the prettiest of all,
The leaves change colors and start to fall.
It gets cold so wear your jacket
Crunch, crunch the leaves make racket.
Time to go camping and hike in the forest
Explore new habitats like you were a tourist
In October Halloween will come,
You can dress like a pirate or like a bum.
You can go to the orchard and then decide,
To pick some apples or take a hay ride.
That’s why I love Fall.
Winter time is snowy and cold,
You can try snowboarding and do something bold.
Make sure you wear your mittens.
You don’t want to get frost bitten.
Christmas decorations and lights galore,
Mistletoe and holly hung o’er the door.
Baking cookies with sprinkles too,
Getting presents and something brand new
Riding my four wheeler through the snow,
Giving my face a rosy red glow.
That’s why I love winter.
Spring time is here with vibrant flowers,
All kinds of weather including showers.
I sit in my window watching the clouds,
The best storms have lighting and thunder that’s loud.
When the sun comes out I ride my bike,
While others prefer to take a hike.
Going to church on Easter Sunday,
Listening to what the pastor will say.
Time to get ready for the Easter Bunny
Hope your day is bright and sunny.
