You Beautiful Treacherous Thing

Dec 16, 2015 15:14

Basics:
Eames: very unlikely you'll figure out any other name. very debatable if that's her actual name or not.
Fulltime flirt: yes, she likes you. Female? Hot. Male? Hot. Kinda confused? Hot.
Natural thief: she'll rob you blind if you aren't careful.
Part-time forger: anything to try on someone else's skin...
Education: street smart and empathetic, she wont pretend to be book smart for a moment and you probably shouldn't let her take notes.
Family: no comment.
Friends: always willing, probably too pushy, but well meaning. she might lift your wallet, just to do it. she may pry, but she really means well.
Extrovert: but let's talk about you.
Love: did you mean lust?

Background:
Eames is flexible. She doesnt like to stay one person for long. Everything in this life is mutable and that begins with herself. Her hair, her weight, her style; these things are external and she loves to hide in plain sight. She doesnt speak about her past, her family, or the circumstances around how she came to be such a smooth criminal, but she will talk about almost anything else- often times to an embarrassing extent. She finds other people fascinating and dreamsharing a whole other level of thievery that she is very, very good at.

She's one hell of a thief, and dont let her tell you otherwise. If there's one thing she's good at, its playing the situation to her favor. This pretty much explains every movement she makes. You want her on your side because if she isnt, your secrets are not safe. She wants to crawl inside your mind and stay there for a while, absorbing your design, tracing every thought, until she can map you down to the last detail; then she'll leave, before you can think of doing the same. She'll wax poetic about anything, everything if you let her. She'll want your opinion, your thoughts, your reasons. She's a people person, by choice, it would seem. She'll try anything once, and make sure she enjoys it to the very last drop.

However, she is very, very bad at quite a few other things. The concept of personal space is abstract to her and while she can read other people very easily, she hardly understands why people have such stringent rules about personal space. Appropriate conduct in work and intra-personal settings confuse her. On the job, she knows exactly what to do, who to be, but in everyday life, it isnt so simple; when there isn't a script handy, or a prescribed agenda for her to follow, thats when things get weird. She's better with words and body language than spelling and maths, and she'll make no excuses for what she doesnt excel at. She gambles and drinks and would probably be better off if she actually listened to the people around her.

And if any of that is true, she'll be surprised.
