For thesecurity - Because It Was There

December in Paris probably wasn't any different from December in other cities around the world, but Paris had any number of lavish celebrations and bookings for private parties and every shape of Father Christmas - Le Pere Noel - in various plazas and street corners. Eames hurried by them all, not looking in the shop windows, hands-free device in his right ear, while he attempted a conversation in French with someone who didn't speak it very well, but possessed even fewer words in English. If his Hindi had been more polished... but it wasn't.

Out of practice...

It was minus two degrees Celsius and with the wind, it felt more like minus ten. A faint drizzle that was attempting to become a light snow dampened the shoulders of his dark brown trench coat and the top and brim of his matching fedora. He'd be out of the weather soon, though. A restaurant named 'La Femme en Rouge' was about two blocks away and Eames had every intention of making his reservation.
