Corset Construction
Now my inspiration for this piece is "Lucy" from Bram Stokers "DRACULA"....originally I wanted it to be exactly the same - but decided creative differences were important(basically I just wanted to use what ever I could source without having
to look too hard). I found a great fabric, and trim to match then proceeded to sew it on. So trim sewn onto the front panel of fabric, which had to have facing (altogether there are 4 layers in this panel)the boning had to be done through the back 2 layers only, because of the decorative sewing on the top. With the back pattern pieces I was happy to have the bone channels seen so only 2 layers needed here. More tomorrow.
