I kind of really... HATE Haruhi's dub voice so far. Maybe it'll grow on me with the actual dvd release?

It is. I just skipped through the parts where they were talking to get to the clips from the dub. I don't need to hear them rant on and on. Who cares?

I'm pretty disappointed too. I'll still be getting the dvds, just to have them. Thankfully the wonder that is dvd provides us with seperate voice tracks and subtitles.
