big ups from brooklyn
i live in brooklyn as of august 4th. it's going really well.. i'm in a great neighborhood tween bushwick and east williamsburg. pretty private, with a great natty foods market up the street.
the city got slammed with rain this morning and our basement flooded, unfortunately. they had to shut down the subways as the damage was pretty severe. now it's like 95 degrees outside with one hundred percent humidity. i heart new york!
i got a lil' job helping at a vegan restaurant which will be an awesome way to make friends. I am getting a drafting table for the basement so that i can work on comics.
on friday i am going to see disfear, and on saturday go it alone will be here, so i'll get to visit with my friend lucas.
my roommate eliza is amazing, we have been making serious vegan meals every night, and so i'm feeling pretty healthy. cindle is happy in her new house: lots of new smells and sounds, and we have a yard for her to play in.
what else... doing pretty well i guess. can't wait to settle in.
