Weekend
It's Sunday night - I am doing a quick check and paying my rent then off to bed to warm up. Not that I am /that/ cold but I have nice warm pjs on and its chilly outside.
This weekend has been a good weekend.
Friday night we ended up not going to see the local producation of Oliver but instead I drove down to Dapto, had dinner, caught up on TV for the week (ER, The Biggest Loser and The Amazing Race - I didn't say it was good TV) We also watched How to lose a guy in 10 days which was fun.
Saturday we slept in a little - I didn't have to go to sport because we had a bye! Yay! Hopefully I don't get busted for that but the sportsmaster told me not to come in. Anyway so we did a bit of pottering around the house - washing clothes, ironing, vacuuming - fun Saturday morning things like that. Also did some school work (marking), a bit of reading and finishing watching TV.
Took the dogs for a long walk - I mean long! I was tired at the end of it.
Then we drove up to Sydney, dropped in to see some friends of mine (my minister and his family) and give his kids an activity book to keep them occupied on the plane. THey are off for about 10 weeks OS.
Then off to pick up dad and drive to Bondi and meet up with the others. Had a lovely dinner and then headed upstairs to watch V for Vendetta I had some thoughts thought out about this movie but forgot them. Must remember to write them down next time.
Basically... yeah perhaps another time when not brain dead. Interesting film.
I was a bit grumpy with D as we had a sort of fight/disagreement where I got upset with him so I was a bit emotional with him the rest of the night. Poor thing.
Sunday - daylight saving ended a week late due to the Commonwealth games which ended... a week ago! Supposedly it would confuse them if daylight saving ended rather than it ended up confusing a whole nation. Anyway. We survived.
Busy day - another load of washing and off to church, back home for a quick lunch and hang out washing and put another one on (found my suitcase of winter clothes which needed to be washed to get a nice clean smell about them).
Off to the final inspection for a house. A little grubby due to tenant's children and a bit of cleaning that needs doing but nothing too foul. Very exciting - settlement tomorrow. Need to try and grab time during recess or lunch to make a few phonecalls.
We will see how that goes.
After that drove around a little familarising ourself with our new neighbourhood and then off to start our PREPARE couse for marriage. Discuss some of the results of the questionairre that we did and other things. Interesting - I am enjoying it so far.
Then home again - more washing on the line - darnit forgot to remind D to hang out the last of his stuff.
Took the dogs for a walk, did some letter box dropping for church to advertise times for Easter services.
Came home, forgot to grab jacket as it was cooling down and off to D's parents (icecream and crunchy apple pie in toe - the crunchy part was from coconut - so so pie). Dinner there and then home - pack clean clothes - drove home. Got a little sleepy as body thinking it was 10pm not 9pm.
Now off to bed - have changed one alarm clock, must not forget to change the other!
