Read the month of July stars * ranked 0 not recommend to 3 * recommend highly

It seems only yesterday I was listing the books of June and now it is the end of July already! Where has time gone? Listed are going to be a few romances as I was caught short and had to steal my friend's books and read them.

A Woman's Eye ed Sara Paretsky **
A mix of short stories written by women authors on mysteries. Some better than others.
What's so Amazing about Grace? by Phillip Yancey **
Mind Game by Christine Feehan
Morning Beauty, Midnight Beast by Myrna MacKenzie
Some enchated evening by Christina Dodd
Bet Me! by Jennifer Cruise ***
Very funny and amusing Cruise at her best!
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince by JK Rowling ***
Do I really have to wait to 2 years til the next one? Very exciting. Different cover from the American one
My Sister's Keeper by Jodie Picoult***
Excellent read - highly recommend it! Very interesting discussion
Autumn Bridge by Takashi Matsuoka ***

9 books read this month. Part of that due to travelling and camping where there is no electric light to read at night and then well not much choice of books.

War of the Worlds*
Fantastic Four
Bewitched
Monster-in-Law**
Amusing, full of laughs
Batman Begins**
A good beginning to the series, returning to the darkness not the comic bookness of the TV series. I had to flinch during the fight scenes - I am such a baby, I don't like violence, makes me jumpy. I didn't understand how at about age 22 Katie was so high up in the DA's office. I know you can join the office but I assume at a young age you are in the lower echelons. I can understand why 7 years later she might have been a bit more advanced. I mean he hadn't even graduated Princeton yet and she was already finished her university studies AND law school?

So that's 5 movies this month. That's up on average while reading is down. Going to see Serenity tomorrow night but that will be in August so won't count for this list.

I must work out my averages again one of these days when I am on another computer.
