So many of us get a second chance at living. When I went and freed Lorelei, I didn't know what would happen. I still don't know. The various curses lately have been really confusing, especially with the one that didn't show another side of me. Wouldn't the other side of me just be Asch? But I guess ... that's not really true either.

I'm sure Asch had his reasons- I'm very certain of it!

But ... wouldn't it be better if he got a chance to really live here?

How do we know if that's what Asch really wants? Didn't he want to protect Kimlasca at your side?

Well, I suppose we won't know for certain, but there's nothing either of us can do for Kimlasca while we're in the City.

But if he's here, we can find a way to get him back there.
