"Though I am not naturally honest, I am so sometimes by chance."

So. Cupcake Wars. You can't go wrong with cupcakes, let's be honest. Frankly though, the show is...well, really not worth it. For those who have been fortunate enough never to have seen the show, it goes like this: Four cupcake...chefs (are they called chefs?) are brought onto the show. There are three rounds of competition, and after the first two rounds two competitors are eliminated. During the last round, the remaining two competitors must design a display on which to put their cupcakes, with the help of some carpenters. Amazingly, all the carpenters the show uses are ridiculously good looking. Like ridiculously good looking. It makes me want to marry a carpenter. So, if one day you are very, very bored (and you want to see some extremely handsome guys), go to Food Network and watch Cupcake Wars.

At the beginning of July, my mom and I went to Stratford for the Shakespeare Festival. Because I had just read As You Like It for my English class, I forced convinced my mom to take me to see the play. I liked it. Of course, I'm also slightly biased about the whole thing because my English teacher (who was, frankly, one of my favorite teachers ever) taught the play to us (and now I know basically anything you could ever want to know about reading As You Like It on a deeper level). My mom really thought she would like it, and was surprised when she didn't. She said the whole thing was "very convenient". The next day we went and saw A Winter's Tale, which we both liked.
