Whatever
Been watching tons of new stuff and reading more. I've always been a huge fan of marvel comics. I've heard people complain about their new interest in big arcs. Arcs as everybody probably knows are stories that begin and end in a series thus being called an arc. They always had pretty big arcs once and awhile that affected the whole marvel universe. The best example I can think of from the past would be secret wars but nowdays it's happening all the time. It started with the big Civil War, I think it was crazy how everyone was involved one way or another especially the wolverine civil war story ( It was really awesome). After Civil War was the assasination of Captain America, then The Secret Invasion ( Huge Ambition and great story but sort of feel short for me.), Dark Reign came barreling through and is going on right now. I really like Dark Reign I am just afraid that it'll become stale. Norman Osbourne is involved with everything now and I could see people just going really tired of him, me personally though I don't think I ever will it's a great concept. The next huge story is coming in December and it's apparently going to make everything normal again, really interesting to me because I wonder if they're trying to put a reset button on what's happened in the past couple of years. Either way I'm sure it'll be ground shattering aha. I also read the Captain America series I think it's called Reborn, so far it's alright I don't know if they should have brought him back so soon but it seems to be all part of a huge plan with Marvel.
I read the new series from the creator of Spawn and it's interesting, I don't want to bash it but it's a real throwback of the 90's comics. Typical extreme over the top killing and weird costumes that you would expect. Tons of people have noticed that the main character looks like spider-man and spawn put together and I completely agree. The poses really need to stop it's straight out of spider-man. It's losing credibility when it's just blantly ripping off a character. It's like if someone created a character with claws coming out of him arms and he called him badger it would just be dumb. If they concentrate on those problems though I think it could turn out to be a really good story. Hopefully they see the faults in it.
Just started watching Gintama and it's funny as hell. It has the random comedian that makes me laugh, It's just a crazy show in general. I'm only starting off so I'm sure it just gets better and better, can't wait to see how it goes with it. I always got up to ep #23 in One Piece it's so weird to see how much was cut out from 4kids, I never knew as a kid. It's almost like watching it for the first time. I read soul eater, I think got up to the 8th chapter, I like it but the two main characters look similar so in black and white sometimes I get confused who is who. Other than that though it's a pretty good manga. I ordered One Piece Volumes 4,5, and 6. It's been more than a week and it's still not here :( ack! The worst part is that it's just been at one of the fed ex warehouses near me for over three days. Stupid fed ex ugh. It's suppose to come tuesday but somehow I don't see that happening. I read the first two vizbig volumes of DragonBall Z it's always fun to go back to DBZ. I saw the fifth one at borders and Goku was SSJ on it, awesome! I'm thinking of getting the vizbig ones of Dragonball too. I'm up to date with Fairy Tail aha well atleast with the American releases. I have to wait till the end of December for the next one, it seems to long away but Novemeber has been flying by so I'm sure December will. We got the Dragon Box, we totally got it half off thanks to Bestbuy's price matching. It was weird at first to watching it without the heavy metal blasting in the background but I really like it. I can see why so many people complained about not having the original release all these years. In other news I'm still unemployed it seems like it's been forever. It's almost been three months. I've been keeping my head above water but it's going to be tough this month. Hopefully everything works out. Rent is always hard but I'll just have to be real cheap with everything. I got an external hard drive, thanks to my awesome gf I got an insane deal on it. I pretty much got it for a third of the price. Seriously she's the best gf ever. I had so much stuff on my comp mostly tv shows and anime. When I saved everything on my new hard drive I took off about 60gb or so of stuff, that's crazy. Well I think that's about it. I don't think I'll be posting again before Thanksgiving so everyone have a nice thanksgiving :D. On a side note if anybody knows of any online writing jobs and/or how to make some money let me know I would really appreciate it.
