So I was just at Mugglenet for a bit, doing my daily check to see if there's any big headlines in HP world that I should know about when I found an obscure little link to the updated Wall of Shame. Okay, so it wasn't obscure, but it was outside the realm of the headlines and that's obscure for me. I suck as an HP fan, sue me.
Anyyywayyyy I saw this:
A note from the unprofessional, arrogant, unprofessional, insensitive, unprofessional, immature, inconsiderate, unprofessional, irresponsible, unprofessional, juvenile, unprofessional, tactless and unprofessional Wall of Shame founder and caretaker, Emerson
Which I take as a good apology for the "delusional" comment, though I could personally care less, I think it's nice that he did it seeing as there are vicious ship-eating dogs out there, which was seen as it went further down the page.
It was a whole bunch of H/Hr fans crying over the sunken ship (like...obsessively. It's kind of freaking me out, actually) and plotting potential law suits against Emerson. Because you can sue free speech. Really. Actually, I almost want to see them attempt it, just to see what a lawyer would say. Speaking of lawyers, who would pay? I mean...how old can the people be if they're getting this worked up about it?
Another one of my favorites was insulting JKR and saying that she had horrible characterization, which is my biggest pet peeves because they're HER characters. How the fuck can she do something wrong with HER characters? She could make them all into cross-dressing transexuals, but you can't say that it's out of the character because JKR, as the writer, knows where they're going, what they're doing, and more importantly, why.
But anyway, this is all just the ramblings of a tired, slightly overworked, girl who really should be cleaning, but is too lazy to trek off for the vacum at this time. That, and I'm really easily amused.
