im so jealous my machine wont play sims 2. i love how the babies actually look like the parents.

Yeah genetics in the game are neat...

Is it a video card issue? I might be getting a new video card from my dad and I can give you my old one.

it *might* be. basically the longer i played the game the slower it got. i think it probably did have something to do with the video card because my computer is only 2 years old and when i installed the game i didn't have anything on the hard drive except what the computer came with. now i even have the external drive so ive got lots of room to save game play. ive got the sims delux edition too which is the og sims with all the expansion packs but after being able to play sims 2 for a little while i find myself not staying on the old version as much.

You might want to go to thesims2 and do a search to see if other people had a similar problem and how they solved it. :P
