Well, it has been a good three weeks since I have updated this thing. So for your viewing pleasure, here you go. My life has been a roller coaster ride in the dark. It has its twists, then a fast turn, a slight up and a big downfall. I forgot to add, this ride does not end. Its up to me to decided how long is too long..and quite frankly, this roller coaster ride is not ending any time soon. Lets start out with the good. This past weekend was by far the best spent this football season. Every LSU football game, I have had to work. This is not a bad thing, I love my job and the people I work with. For all who dont know, I work in the Recruiting office, and on gameday I get to meet current recruits talk to them about LSU and have fun on the field for pre game, but I never get to actually watch the game with the people I love. I end up walking around aimlessly talking to friends and occasionally sitting down with my family and enjoy their company. Well this game day was a little different. This weekend Alabama hosted LSU, in what was the biggest SEC matchup of the season, and the winner would take the West and lead on the road to Atlanta. Well, I had signed up for the LSU SG Bus Trip, bc you know, I thought it would be fun. Well, one day walkin around campus, I ran into my friend Donald ( who actually plays for LSU) and we began to talk about the game. I started talking about how I was going on bus trip etc, etc. Well, as a student athlete he is able to get tickets to the games, and was looking for some friends to ride up with. The ticket was free, and the fact that I could drink and not have to wait on a bus was even better. So I took him up on the offer. On Friday, at around 6 Donald and my new friend, Brittany arrived to pick me up for the ride to Tuscaloosa. The ride was fun and very easy. We arrived in T Town by 11. We met up with Erin, a beautiful girl from Alabama, who was close friends with Brittany. She offered us a place to stay, and for that I was very thankful. Donald and I decided to get dressed out of LSU clothes, for the threat of our lives and on to the streets, while the girls hit up the fraternity parties. Well, not even 5 minutes upon walking out of the dorm, we could hear Tiger Bait chants a mile away, so Donald and I were like "Fuck This" and put our LSU parafanalia(?) back on. We ran into some friends, and began to have a good time drinking. We stopped at various tailgates, drank a few beers then moved on. I ran into a friend who was a DKE at UA, so we moved on to their party, met up with the girls and got hammered. I had not been drunk in quite some time, so it was something I needed. After the party, we got hungry and went to Jimmy Johns. This was a good 24 hour sandwhich shop. Well sitting down with Donald, someone threw something at us. Dissapointed, I took it upon myself to see how the enemy was..but in a different way..Im a friendly guy, so I did it simply as nice as I could. I stood on a table, (with the manager about to kick me out) some how got the entire place quiet ( which had nearly 150 ppl inside.) and made a huge statement: I said, hey, no matter who wins or loses...the only thing that matters is one thing...FUCK THE UNIVERSITY of AUBURN!!!..THE ENTIRE PLACE ERRUPTED IN CHEERS. The manager, who wanted to kick me out, then offered me some free food for my statement. The rest of the night was fun, but I called it a night and hit the sack at Erins. The next morning we woke up ready for GAMEDAY! We visited a few fraternity houses, the gameday set and some friends from LSU. We ran into the LSU TIGER PIMP NATION, who had crown and coke on TAP. If your from LSU, you have to know who these guys are. Anyways, after all the fun tailgating, we headed to the Stadium. I was very awe struck as to how small it was, but how it really wasnt. If your a Tiger fan, you are spoiled when it comes to Stadiums. OUR STADIUM IS THE GREATEST IN THE NATION BY FAR. AND THE LOUDEST. This game was the most intense I had ever watched. I was scared at first, but we pulled it off, and as you know the outcome. WE WON BABY! After the game, we celebrated with our friends and completed an incredible trip in T TOWN, which on Saturday night meant TIGER TOWN. The ride back was allright, but the rest of the day was very long. I had my last training session for AMB, and then various other meetings to tend too. I passed out when I made it home. The rest of my story is my life, and how I need to live it. The fact of the matter is, I am struggling. Struggling in life, in school, and with friends. I need to figure out what I want to do and what my priorities are. Everything has been crumbling down. I love my life. Im a senator in SG, a member of the Provost Council, Im in a fraternity, which I know serve as our IFC rep, and corresponding secretary, Im an ambassador ( sort of), Im in fellowship of Christian athletes, DYRT, and hold a job at Recruiting services ( football weekends and school days)but lately I just want to get away, take a break, Id say with a few close friends, but Im starting to realize, and its hard for me to say, I dont have any close friends. I have spread my self out so much, and yes I have many many friends, but really none to call my own. I had them in high school and I miss them. I have forgotten who my true friends are, and I HAVE LOST THEM. Im alone. It seems that every friend I make in this world comes back to me later in life only to use me, they only want to talk to me when they want something, only want to see me when something is wrong, to be honest with all you, STOP..AS IVE SAID NUMEROUS TIMES, I AM A HUMAN, NOT A HOTLINE...I BLEED, I SWEAT, AND I DREAM. Will you be there for me when I really need you most? I just want to..I dunno..have no worries. but what is life with out worries right? WRONG. When you have too many of them, it can kill you. I had to vent, but Im just worn out and tired. I love my life, but how much? Why am I really at LSU? I really need to get away and chill. Keep my friend, Linz in your prayers and her friend Ashton, they could use your help. good luck and god bless.
