It has been a long weekend, with the hurricane and and ever so long awaited football game. The weekend was fun, I got really drunk and played lots of mud football, and learned alot about people that I wish I never knew..but Im not going there, bc I will go on a tangent and embarass those whom I want nothing to do with. Why do I have to be so damn nice? Why CANT PEOPLE GET A FUCKING CLUE?
Anyways, besides a fun weekend with many different friends, gameday was today. I woke up around 11 and Jill, Shannon, Sarah and Kearny all showed up for the festivities. We all walked from tent to tent, tailgate to tailgate until arriving at the famous 3rd row tailgating festivities..spent some time there, saw some friends and moved on to another party..After that, we went back to my apartment, chilled and relaxed. The best has yet to come. On the way into the stadium I called my boss, to see if I could get on the field. Well..no answer. I went to the Lawton Room hoping someone I knew was working the door, and sure enough the lovely Ms. Sharon was there with a welcoming smile. She let Jill and I in, and Andy had my field pass waiting for me. Jill was excited bc she got one too. This pumped me up for my job, that I have yet to do. I told Andy, I wanted the SEC games off and the lil ones I would work. Well, I want to work them all now, it seems to be fun. After chatting with Andy and getting settled in the Lawton Room, it was time to make our way on to the field.....WOOOWW! my entire life, I have always wanted to be a part of pre-game in Tiger Stadium, and now I was. This was the closest thing to actually running out onto the field, through the tunnel. I called my dad so he could see me and looked for my friends. The atmosphere was amazing..I wish I could say the same for the game though. LSU WAS dominant in the first half with 21 unanswered points, and in the end, lost in overtime with 30 unanswered points..so bottom line, WE LOST. Though we lost, I had a great time with my best friend, Jill. Hope there are more memories to come.
