Camp Quest

Well, I'm back from camp and I am soo glad that I didn't pass up the opportunity to go! Those kids blessed me so much more that I ever thought they could! Financially, I'm sure I will be ok also. Since I went down there with a friend, we were able to split the cost of gas and the hotel room the one night we stayed on the beach. (It rained that day, lol, but we still played in the ocean anyway.) Also, since my birthday is coming up, the birthday money I'll get from my grandparents will make up for not being able to work for a week. I still need to find ways to raise money for the Women's conference at Lee I'm supposed to be helping with though. We wanted to be able to give money to several charities, but it looks like it might be down to one by now. I know that God is going to work all things together for good though, so as long as our focus is right, things will be fine. Back to camp-It was so awesome to be able to see so many familiar faces and to meet new ones. My childhood friend Courtney and I were over 14 elementary school s and I now hardly have a voice, but it was fun, and the hunger for the Lord that those s had was so refreshing! There were four s in my group who became Christians and I could actually see the change in one immediately! I also had a camper who was torn between being a Jew like her mom or a Catholic like her dad, so I was able to tell her about being a Messianic Jew-and to think that I thought I wouldn't have the opportunity to get in depth about Christianity with a elementary schooler. They are so honest in their questions and so willing to learn! I could go on, but......It's past bedtime because I have to drive back to Lee tomorrow!
