Tears, Sadness, and Appologies...
Hey everyone. I would like to start by thanking you for all of your support these past few months. I am terribly sorry to inform everyone that I will not be going on the tour I had planned this summer. WHY!??!? you may be asking.. Well, I will tell you. Its all due to financial issues. And we all know that financial issues is a fancy and polite way to say I'M BROKE! Again, I am really, really sorry that the tour isn't going to happen. I wanted it to happen just as much as you all did. I will be playing shows around the south east for sure and I hope to work out some kind of smaller tour that won't go near as many places and won't be near as rushed (10 hour drive times between shows back to back? it would have been crazy). Now that the bad news is out of the way, here is the good news. My good friend Justin Green ( you may know him from the TBS cover on my purevolume site ) will be doing a side project this summer that is tentatively titled "Age/Sex/Location." We will be recording songs this summer and releasing them completely free online. Also, as an added bonus for the tour falling apart, I will be recording a new song or two and putting them online for free download. I know you may still disappointed that you won't be able to see me live this summer, but it really is better this way because now I will be able to afford to keep making music and not having to sell everything but my guitar, car, and clothes so that I can go on a full US tour. I will say that eventually I will make it to all of the places that I planned, but it just won't happen this summer. Thanks so much for your support everyone and if you have any questions for me, please email me or post in the forums. And again for good measure, I am terribly sorry that it didn't work out. (oh, and I forgot to add that I will be playing at Cornerstone Festival in Bushnell, IL this summer.) One last thing... for those of you that have been trying to catch me on AIM, I am really sorry that I haven't been able to talk but I promise I will talk to everyone after school is finished up. I got mad work to do, so off I go.
