(no subject)
Hi everyone-
I just got back from 8 days of total relaxation...ie I went on vacation for the first time in 2 years. No stress about having to do homework while on vacation. I got to see all the people who vacation in the houses around us as well as all the shop and restaurant owners who my family is good friends with. Leaving was especially hard this year since my family may no longer be going back - the property which we stay at is currently at the center of a family dispute, and whomever ends up obtaining ownership of it may not allow my family to come up there anymore.
So, other than vacation, there is not a whole lot else that you guys would be interested in hearing. Still nothing new on the guy front - Ben finished his European tour, but still won't be back in dayton for a little over a month yet. His schedule is online, but I have chosen not to read it - if I knew which city in which state he was in, I'd be thinking about him too much and what he would be doing at that moment. I already knew which day he was playing under the Eiffell Tower in Paris, and it made me sad that he was in the most romantic city in the world with a hundred other girls. Plus, he doesn't have internet access so email communication is out of the question, and his long distance cell phone minutes are limited, so he uses the few minutes he does have keeping in contact with his family. I do really miss him, and I'm sure he feels the same - he told me before he left that going to Europe was the greatest thing he has ever gotten to do, and now that such a wonderful experience was here, he could not enjoy it cause he didn't want to go and leave when he and I were just getting close. I just hope we can pick up where we left off - I'm sure we will, there's something between us...like old friends - no matter how long you're apart, it's never hard to pick up where you left off.
I'll try to get a hold of one of you guys and see how everyone has been, especially someone in particular who wasn't in the best of health when I left - to this person: you were the one thing I worried about on vacation - I hope you are all right - you are in my prayers and I hope to see you at our next gathering. Until then, I'll post some pics of my vacation and update this journal more often.
