Game Specific Info
Why do you want to play this character here?
Charlie has been in her ‘comfort zone’ for most of the run of Birds of Prey that she’s in. Granted, she does get in trouble and gets hurt, but it’s still mostly her hanging out with Babs and going wherever she goes. I think it would be interesting to see her tugged out of that bubble some, forced to sort of…walk through on her own, as it were. She hasn’t had to since she stopped pretending to be Batgirl.
Why do you believe this character fits into this game’s setting?
Misfit is very much your classic ‘crime fighting for the sake of crime fighting’ character. She thinks it’s awesome and fun and exciting and that she’s totally badass at it. Sticking her in Gotham, even without the birds at her back, is another chance for her to go fight the good fight, as it were.
What are your plans for your character in this game?
Throw her into the chaos and see how much trouble she gets into/fun she has. Forced to make friends, forced to be social because most of her safety net is gone, that sort of thing. Maybe she can make friends with the bat-clan! She did want to be Batgirl, after all. She doesn’t want to be anymore, but hey, they’re awesome! She still has a little bit of a spying habit too, and she can go…pretty much anywhere she wants.
I’d kinda like her to end up going to school, for some reason, but I’m not sure how well that would work.

Log/Third Person Sample:
Charlie was tracking a mugger.
Okay, it wasn’t the most glamorous thing in the world, tracking a mugger. It wasn’t fighting an evil conglomeration of supervillains or hunting the Calculator or being Batgirl, but it was still something!
But she was sure he was a mugger, he had the whole ‘mugger look’, and if you believed Huntress almost everyone in Gotham was probably a criminal anyway.
But she had a good feeling about this one! Or a bad feeling, anyway. And so she went, bouncing from rooftop to rooftop as she followed the guy. He was skulking through alleyways and back streets, one hand in his jacket…he totally had to have a gun in there. She was sure of it.
She slid to a stop on the end of one roof as the mugger reached the end of the alley, and she frowned. Maybe he wasn’t a mugger? He was just…standing there, watching the people walking by. Had she wasted the last twenty minutes?
“Crud,” she sighed, pushing off the ledge and turning to stalk a few steps towards the center of the roof, her hands balled into fists. She totally wasn’t used to this. Crime fighting was so much easier when she had Babs pointing her towards the villain. Not that she couldn’t do it on her own, but still!
“HELP!”
A cry! A cry for help in fact. She rushed back to the edge of the roof, watching as the man she had been following dragged some poor old lady into the alley by her purse strap. Ah hah, he was a mugger! That was great!
Well, not great, it was bad because he was a criminal and all that but it was great because she was right!
She couldn’t hide her grin as she immediately leapt forward, a pink burst of energy flaring up around her and then she ‘bounced’ down to the street, appearing out of the air at just the right point to kick the man firmly in the head.
“DAAAAAARK VENGEANCE!”

[When the screen flickers to life, it shows only the side of a nearby office building, and the image swung back and forth as if hanging from an arm that couldn’t quite hold still.]
Oh great, where am I now? Helena?
[The voice is female, young, and fairly annoyed. Suddenly the image is covered in pink light, just for a split second, and then…the office building is back?]
Oh what the heck? This isn’t Metropolis…What the hell?
[Another flash of pink light, and when it fades the image is showing the edge of a roof, with the tops of buildings nearby.]
Oh great, this is Gotham. That’s totally not the right city at all.
[The screen waves as the holder runs over to the edge of the building, and the screen shows the edge of the roof and…demons fighting down below?]
Woah, when did gotham get a demon problem?
[Another flash of pink light and she’s…down on the street? There’s a demon charging towards the camera, and she makes a yelping noise, bouncing back a step, dodging the attack, and a black boot and tight-covered leg appears for a second, kicking the creature in the face. Which does very little.]
Crud.
[Another flash of pink light and she is standing on a completely different demon-covered street.]
CRUD!
[One more flash, and she’s standing on another roof. After a few seconds, the screen lifts to show Misfit, her face a mask of confusion and irritation.]
Why can’t I get out of Gotham?!
