"Blacks are under attack" -- Jesse Jackson.

I've decided to weigh in, briefly, on the interracial murder of a 17-year-old teen from a few days ago: it's horrific.

Teen murder victim begged for her life

A high school girl repeatedly begged for mercy while she was being tortured by her companions who finally took her outside, forced her to strip and shot her in the back of the head so she couldn't tell authorities what happened, Allegheny County Police said Tuesday. Rodney Lee Burton, 21, of the 1500 block of Oak Street, North Braddock, and Brittany Williams, 19, of the 200 block of McCutcheon Lane, Penn Hills, were arrested on charges of criminal homicide for the shooting death early Sunday of Dana Marie Pliakas, 17, of Murrysville.

Services are scheduled this afternoon for Pliakas, a junior at Franklin Regional High School, whose body was found at the bottom of the concrete steps leading from Electric Avenue in North Braddock to the Route 30 viaduct. County Police Superintendent Kenneth Fulton said Pliakas and a companion went to a party Saturday at Burton's home where partygoers drank rum and smoked marijuana before the abuse and torture began.

"Why are you doing this to me?" Pliakas repeatedly cried as Williams assaulted her with a leather belt, her fists and a plastic bottle containing laundry detergent, a witness told detectives according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Williams continued the assault while Pliakas begged for mercy, the unidentified witness told detectives, according to the affidavit. Burton, who is accused of firing the fatal shot, told reporters yesterday that he didn't shoot anyone. But according to the affidavit, the witness said Burton told him that he "had to get rid of Dana" because he feared she would tell police what happened.

According to the affidavit:

The witness said Burton told him: "I was standing on the steps above Dana. Brittany was below her. I had Brittany tell Dana to strip.

"I told Dana to look down the steps at Brittany. I cocked my gun and shot Dana in the head. She fell down the steps," the witness said Burton told him.

Police said Williams was an acquaintance of Pliakas, and Burton is Williams' boyfriend.

While relatives and friends of Pliakas gathered yesterday afternoon to pay their last respects at the Jobe Funeral Home in Turtle Creek, county police held a news conference to announce the arrests and describe her final, horrible, hours.

"(Pliakas) probably spent eight or nine hours under the hand of these two individuals," Fulton said.

"For young people, this ranks right up there," he said. "To be tortured, stripped, beaten and shot in the back of the head is a pretty bad thing for a junior in high school."

Fulton said Pliakas and a female friend arrived at Burton's home about 2 p.m. Saturday. Police did not say how many people attended the party or witnessed the night's events. Fulton said partygoers were smoking marijuana and drinking 151-proof rum, which he described as "potent." At some point, Williams and Pliakas began arguing. Fulton did not say what sparked the argument but said he believes that "Williams is under the influence and becomes violent."

According to the affidavit, the witness told police:

The assault occurred in the middle room of Burton's apartment. At some point, Williams sat on Pliakas' back and struck her face numerous times.

Williams subsequently tore Pliakas' clothing, exposing the victim's breast and bra. When Pliakas refused to remove more clothing, the beating continued.

Williams also produced a Smith and Wesson semi-automatic pistol and said, "I'll kill you, (expletive)."

Williams also was observed placing a plastic bag over Pliakas' head and telling her: "You could be dead."

Police said Pliakas attempted to escape through the front door of Burton's apartment, but Williams and Burton captured and restrained her.

Pliakas, who was finally permitted to get dressed, left the apartment with Burton and Williams, the witness said, and Burton and Williams returned about a half-hour later.

Police said about 2:20 a.m. Sunday, Pliakas made a telephone call from her cell phone to her aunt. When the aunt answered the phone, the call was disconnected, police said.

Residents on Electric Avenue told police they heard a single gunshot about 3 a.m.

The body of Pliakas was clad only in jewelry and socks when it was spotted about four hours later by passengers in a passing Port Authority of Allegheny County bus.

An autopsy showed she had been shot once in the back of the head at close range.

Fulton said police have not recovered the gun but did retrieve a shell casing near where Pliakas' body was found.

Tests are being done to determine whether Pliakas was sexually assaulted.

Residents in Murrysville were shocked at the slaying but relieved to hear of the arrests.

Barb Palazolo, of Murrysville, who was watching her daughter's softball game yesterday, said, "thank goodness."

"I tell my kids it's important I know where they are going and who they are hanging out with. I'm not just being nosy. I care."

Steve Brennan, 18, a senior at Franklin Regional High School, said teachers addressed the situation during class Monday.

"My teacher was crying," Brennan said. "She said there was a tragedy and a student was shot and killed in Pittsburgh."

Franklin Regional officials also sent home literature to parents outlining what to watch for as far as student reaction to the tragedy.

School officials also offered counselors Monday and yesterday.

Williams and Burton were arraigned before Deputy Coroner Darlene Craig and jailed without bond to await a coroner's hearing scheduled for April 7.

Fulton said Pliakas was injured when a car Williams was driving crashed on Nov. 4 in Penn Hills.

Court documents show that Williams is awaiting trial on charges of underage drinking, careless driving while intoxicated and possession of a small amount of marijuana that were filed as a result of the accident.

Where is the outrage? There isn't any. Why not? She (the victim) is white or hispanic, or white-hispanic (the term the media and black "leaders" are using for Zimmerman, a hispanic, to increase racial tensions) and the killer and his accomplices are black. What does that have to do with it?

1. People are desensitized to black on white violent crime because it's normal, frequent, and expected. Blacks kill whites at a rate 13 times higher than that of whites killing blacks. And that's when we include hispanics as whites when they're the criminals but not necessarily when they're the victims.

2. People are shocked by white on black violent crime because it's so infrequent.

3. There are acceptable thoughts and unacceptable thoughts in Western Civilization, and two thoughts which will not be permitted are that race and crime or race and intelligence are linked in a direct way. Any links are merely tangential via socio-economic status and such. Even academic research into such things is taboo.

Far from achieving the desired ends, this suppression of research and irrational clinging to dogma is stirring up massive racial tension in the Western world, and you can see it on the verge of boiling over.
