Word Count: ~776
A/N: This took me ages to write. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who has written about this, and it's like my baby, I'm VERY protective of it. If you wish to use it for anything at all, please ask me. I don't like my baby being stolen or used. So enjoy, and have fun!! (PS: SIAPNFAFC will be up soon, just need a little push. Anyone willing to help is awesome and I will appreciate very little but of help I can get.) So, have fun and enjoy.
Why? Why did the only person that I truly loved have to leave? He's gone, and never to return. I paced around our house, taking in the all-too-familiar sight. Everything still smelled of you, and it had been a month. Why did you leave me to suffer like this? And not just me, either. The fans are sad too. I talk to them more now, seeing as I have nothing better to do with myself. You said you loved me, why did you have to go? I heard a knock on the door, and I wondered who on earth wanted to see me. Slowly, I walked to the entrance of this little hell hole and opened it. A bright green note was taped to the door.
The writing was strikingly similar to yours, but it couldn't be. Well, maybe. I wasn't letting the possibility be ruled out, so I ran to the park, sat underneath our tree, and waited.

The swings we're deserted, the jungle gym always empty and the cold breeze brushed against my skin.
"Hello Ian." a voice said from behind to tree. I stood up and whipped around as quickly as I could. There you stood, in all of your glory; deep mocha eyes, dark brown hair covering your right eye, slender and fit body.
"Anthony! You're alive!!" I screamed, attacking you in the biggest bear hug I was capable of.
"I always was. I gather you missed me?" you said, hugging me back.
"MISSED YOU? More like died from lack of fresh air and oxygen."
"I missed you too. You don't know how hard it was for me to stay away."
"Why did you lie to me? To the fans?"
"I guess it's time I told you the truth. The whole truth."

I sat down across from you, patiently waiting for an explanation. You sighed deeply, as though this information was too unbearable to say.
"When I was about four, my parents decided they couldn't take care of me anymore. Rather than doing the logical thing and taking me to an orphanage, they 'donated' me to science. A lab rat. That's all I was. They used me in an experiment to try and get all 100% of the brain to be an active part of your thinking. Well, it worked.
"They took a highly complicated formula and injected it directly into my brain. When I woke up, the world had suddenly become completely different. The average human brain uses about 10% of its thinking capacity; mine uses all 100%. I was kept in a cell, only bringing me out for information and tests. I had become tired of being treated like crap after six years, so I ran away and destroyed the formula as my grand exit. I couldn't let anyone else go through what I had. The information I have hurts. I can know absolutely anything about any person or thing by simply glancing at it. Two other people had been through it, and had been let go when they were 18, and understood my pain. Mr. and Mrs. Padilla were kind and adopted me, helping me start a regular life. They sent me to school, even though I knew everything there was to learn and more. It was pointless until I met you, and I finally felt like I had a purpose. I had fun with you, and it was different, but I enjoyed it. We started to make videos, and I was leery at first, but soon got over it, because there was NO way they could find me. Was I ever wrong. Last month, when you were visiting your parents, they found me. I barricaded the door long enough to plan and execute a perfect crime scene, duplicating my body within seconds. They believed it and left with the fake me."
"Why did you lie about it?"
"Because. I didn't want them to hurt you to get information you didn't have because I ran away or something. I love you far too much to let that happen. I couldn't let you get hurt."
"Oh Anthony. I love you." I whispered as I embraced you, "Please, never leave me. I can't live without you."
"I can't live without you either. I missed you so much. I promise I'm not going anywhere."
"How can you? They'll find you again."
"The government shut down the lab. They found he procedures for the care of human people. We can tell the fans, we can make videos again. We are safe." you took me to the swings and sat me down.
"Ian, I love you with all of my heart. You taught me how to love, and more importantly, how to live. Will you please marry me?" Tears were streaming down your face, and they had started to form in my eyes.
"Yes. Absolutely." I whispered. Your hands cupped my face, your thumb wiped away a falling tear, and at long last, after the longest month in history, our lips locked. It was short and sweet, but it was something I would remember for the rest of my life.

Every year on that day, the two would commemorate their reunion. Even when they became old and tired, they would walk to that very same park and shared a kiss at midnight.
