CNY 2013 x FAMILY
My days were fairly similar from Saturday to now. Waking up at 9 or 10 and trying my best to leave house as per planned. And surprisingly, this time round it was my dajie/dad who was the last one to be ready. My mum was efficient! LOL.

XD was waiting for my sis so may as well as snapped a few photos. :P
We called yumcha around a week ago and they told us that they do not take in reservations. Then we were like... how? So we decided to try our luck at 11+am... and we just waited for a while for seats! ^^
It was kind of efficient (and the way I like it because it was so noisy and not that ATAS as where we went last year). The servers came around with the trolley full of dimsums/porridge/desserts/fried stuffs/sharkfins. We could choose from what they have and not what's on the menu. And once a while the server will come with a few plates (of the same dish) in his hands and asked around to see who wants it. SO FUN! Can't eat in peace though. always trying to scout and see what's coming and what they are offering. :D

definitely not all we had because.. we had much more. LOL.
and my parents!
and the reason why there isn't many photos of me & my da jie? because my parents are terrible photographers. LOL.
i spent quite some time braiding my hair... which i think you can't see it from here. >.<
So we walked a little bit in Chinatown (because we were lost. LOL.) before we headed to our next destination (my dad requested!)
RIVER ANGBAO! which was terribly hot. I could feel the heat reflected from the ground.

we are missing tigress here so just 2 dragons & 2 pigs.
how can i not post 财神爷 and the two 鸳鸯.
We ended the day at 5+? We wanted to walk a bit of Gardens By The Bay (aka GBTB) but it started raining. :( so we decided to head home! and we were all so tired. zzz. I could hardly keep myself awake for 倒数! 守岁更不用提了.
初一
spent the first half at my 大舅's house. seeing my nieces & nephews grown up is such a scary thing (and a great remainder that i should go get married soon). it was raining when we left the house and went to JP! haven't been there for... 2 years?
caught this movie! 西游记! by 周星驰. a must-watch i should say. I had a good time laughing. so is my sister and the father sitting next to me. though his wife doesn't have a clue. When the movie title was shown, his wife actually said '这个是《西游记》喔.' -.- Too gruesome in my opinion. But regardless, it's 周星驰. MUST WATCH. LOL.
after which had a nice but spicy dinner at swensens.
初二
as requested by my mum, we headed down to GBTB. Ain't we good daughters? going so many places. LOL.
after walking the 蜻蜓点水 pond only, my mum couldn't take it and so we headed down to the conservatories first.
skipped OCBC walk because it was too hot.
The queue for tickets was kind of long but thankfully for all the good staffs working, the queue moved very fast. So shortly we bought our tickets and went into Cloud Forest first!
i really love waterfall! must be one of my fav nature stuffs. LOL. So pretty! not to mention the weather inside was cooling!! ^^
both of us had some free time because my parents looked at flowers longer than us! LOL.
the walkway was pretty fun!
it was amusing to see people being scared to walk at the side. :D
Had lunch at texas chicken (because we found seats immediately though the queue to buy food was long but at least my parents could sit).
After which... we went into Flower Dome!
appreciate GBTB's efforts in incorporating the snake year.

oh oh! we met 二舅 & his family too! 很巧!
and after vising the dome, it was nearly sunset time. So we decided to stick around so my parents can see GBTB night view. LOL.

didn't take photo when the sky was dark and the lights was on because it just don't look pretty with my camera.
anyway, thanks to the fact that i lost my phone, i'm back with my camera again. and making me realised how much i've neglected it and i really need a better camera so i can take nearer macro shots. but i don't like bulky cameras. sigh.
okay, i need to rest a while before embarking on Assignment 3! 加油!
