At the Premiere of 'Popper's Penguins'

Winter came early in Los Angeles, with the premiere of Mr. Popper's Penguins on June 12. Instead of red, a white carpet was rolled out in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre, then lined with cotton to look like snow. Along with the film's stars, four live penguins walked the carpet, and imitation snow blew through the air during arrivals.

Madeline Carroll, 15, one the film's stars, wore a short, silver bustier dress. Of shooting the movie, Madeline said, "It was so cold on set, all the time. It was freezing, and it smelled like fish, but it was fun! They're cute."

Morgan Lily, 11, wore a strapless, textured pink dress, accessorized a heavy black bracelet and blue nails. Do you see a resemblance between Madeline and Morgan? They played the same character at different ages in last summer's Flipped.

Kiernan Shipka, 11, looked adorable as always in a red-and-white polka-dot dress.
