This is an awesome fic set in an AU where the Clex kiss of life never happened however the Clexcharacterisations are superb.
This story gently introduces us to the innocent farm boy Clark whom we love starting as an intern at Luthercorp and then winds down illustrating a vengeful and sexually confused Clark who had been manipulated by Lex.
Reading this fic takes me to something I heard on tv this morning when someone mentioned that "gay people are born gay", I dont believe that for a second. Not all people are born gay, some people (emphasis on some) are gay due to attraction, the crowd you hang with, rape, like Clark seduction and manipulation, experimentation, etc.
Basically what I'm trying to say is, things are never so simple or straight and narrow as "gay people are born gay", life is so full of complexities that it is impossible for things to be Black and White.
Its these complexities that make life so interesting, mysterious and intriguing
