Previously:
In front was Chinen who was on the floor laying in the pool of blood with the sharp wood that was aimed at her embedded on his lifeless body in front of her. She slowly walked towards the paling body of Chinen as she grasps his hands in hers, she felt the warmth he had before was slowly disappearing along with every breath that came out of his lips was the sign of his life escaping him.
“Chinen?” cried Hanako and waited for his response not hearing his breath she softly cried unaware of the fact that the little girl was slowly disappearing and a murderous smile decorated her devilish face and whispered…..
“One life has been taken….I shall for now disappear….till the next time
I shall come for another”

Suddenly the door that wouldn’t budge suddenly opened automatically letting the group stumble in and Hakufu managed to find her balance and started to search, while on the other hand Rin’s hands trembled at the written passage.
“Gaining access to the inside the group found their balance…
As one girl searched for her dear friend, with shaking hands
The girl opened the door finding a very horrific scene in front and before a
Very masculine scream was heard…”
Not before long the two found themselves running as they heard their new found friend Keito scream in agony, and came face to face to the scene that they read just a little while ago. Keito staggered to reach his lifeless friend that was covered from the pool of his own blood, and Hakufu bend over to the shock looking Hanako and pulled her back towards her chest and engulfed her into a protective embrace and placing her hands on her best friend’s eyes, preventing her see more of the horrific scene upfront.
“Wh-what are you doing Hakufu?” cried Hanako “Chi-chinen he’s…”
“Shh…He’s ok…He’ll be fine….” said Hakufu whispered as she reassured her trembling friend with soothing words, before focusing on the poor boy surrounded by red pools and cringed as she saw the sharp wood impaled on the smaller frame’s chest. .
“Chii?” said Keito as he tried his best not to wake up the “sleeping boy” up not hearing a sound silent tears fell from his masculine face.

The group stood just outside the house watching the place and Ryutaro shivered as a presence not known to earth was felt, he stood still and let his eyes wonder for a bit before landing on a faint figure watching them.
“You will never be able to stop this….They will be mine…” said a voice that had them frozen on the spot and watch as the figure disappears to nothingness.
“They’re coming…” said Ryosuke as he noticed his girlfriend emerging from the entrance before their eyes met.
“What are you doing here?” asked Natsuko with surprise evident on her face
“I…” before he answered his girlfriend’s question Natsuko already fired another statement.
“Don’t tell me…Have you known this all along?”
Noticing the expression her boyfriend gave her she sighed and shook her head as she waited for any decent explanation from the boy.

“I really don’t know where to begin” started Yamada
“How about from the beginning?” said Natsuko
Yamada sighed and told Natsuko and the others to follow them. After a while of walking Natsuko looked at the two distressed person behind her.
“How long are we going to be walking for?” asked Natsuko
“Won’t be long” said Yamada as he led them through a bunch of corners and alley ways before coming into a stop in front of an old house.
“Wha-…. Isn’t this an abandoned house?” asked Rin
“No” replied Ryutaro as he opened the gate and motioned for them to come inside so they could talk. Once inside the group noticed the intricate designs on the walls and the ceiling when one particular design caught Rin’s attention.
“Hmm… Where have I seen that before?” thought Rin as she slowly followed the others to what they assumed to be the living room. Sitting Hanako and Keito down, Hakufu and the others sat around the vacant chairs as they waited for Yamada and Ryutaro to explain.
“So?” started Hakufu when she noticed the hesitation on the two guy’s eyes
“That book you’re holding” started Ryutaro “We’ve tried to destroy it but… It found its way to you”
“Those murders you’ve seen on the TV about this ‘silent killer’ got started by that book” explained Yamada “Just like you, Ryutaro and I are both imprisoned by this sickening game”
“Game?” asked Hakufu
“Yeah, a game of tag” said Ryutaro “One where you hide and survive”
“A game? Chii… Died because of a game?” Keito said softly as his eyes landed on Ryutaro “How-… How is this even possible?”
“That’s right… Can’t we just go to the police?” asked Rin
“No, you’ve seen her haven’t you?” asked Yamada as he noticed how both Rin and Hakufu paled at the mention of ‘her’.
“She… She’s not human” said Ryutaro “She likes to play this game to the end”
“Well, as far as we know that girl you saw” said Yamada “She only comes out once in a while looking for a soul to devour”
“So you’re saying she’ll come after us again?” asked Hakufu
“Yes, that’s why we called it a deadly game of tag” said Ryutaro as he looked at the picture frame on the desk behind the couch “There used to be five of us”
“What happened?” asked Rin
“They died” said Yamada
“Can’t we stop this?” asked Rin
There was silence as Yamada and Ryutaro looked at each other before shaking their heads in vain.
“We don’t know how…” sighed Yamada “All we know is that book shows the holder the event that will unfold”
“Also who the targets and the players” added Ryutaro
“Who the players? Targets?” asked a confused Natsuko “You’re saying there’s a marker on who’s going to be next?”
“Yeah…” said Ryutaro as she subtly looked at Hanako
“How?” asked Rin
“The mark on your chest will become darker” said Hanako softly catching the attention of the group “The closer she is to ‘tagging’ you it becomes darker until….”
“Until she completes her round and devours that person’s soul” finished Ryosuke
No one said a word, slowly Rin felt a chill down her spine. Something inside her was telling her to open the book, fearing what lies in the blank pages Rin slowly opened the book. There in bold red letters a piece of warning came.
“Run little lambs… You can only run so far
I’m someone you can never outrun….”
All of a sudden Hanako cried out in pain as she clutched her chest, and glaring at the exposed window where a small figure stood.
