Yesterday I looked at an email account I've been ignoring for a while.  Unfortunately, it draws a lot of spam; a new message every three or four minutes, in fact.  Cleaning it out, I learned that the internet believes that I need drugs, penile enhancement, and replica watches.  I learned that my bank, your bank, and banks I've never heard of, need me to update my account information.  I learned that there are thousands of jobs, business loans, and stock opportunities just waiting for me.  I learned that spammers have an unhealthy fascination with the word fuckstick.
But, of those 23000 spam messages, only three offered "Christian Debt Relief."  I'd have expected a greater degree of forgiveness, personally.

It’s still too early for a good range of produce in our farmer’s market.  The last of the overwintered greens are there, but I’m pretty tired of braising things at this point.  The last of the turnips and beets are there too, but with the first of the Californian asparagus at the grocery, that’s not very tempting either.

So, what did I buy?  Poppy seed pastry from the nice Hungarian lady, goat cheese, and three kinds of pig.

Spring better bring fresh vegetables soon.
