[It's becoming less and less unusual to see San around the village during the day. This day, regardless of the weather, she's sitting on the fountain's edge with one hand in the water to the wrist. She's not looking at much of anything.

In all fairness, she's not thinking much of anything either. Her thoughts are pretty well dominated by that hand

Fine. I have been in the forest.

Oh. [That's nothing new.] Well, it's good to hear from you.

[Katara avoids the forest on general principle. She and Eferin do not get along.]

[Nothing new because she's hiding the rest from you. ...Even though, initially, she didn't want to.]

I'm at the house. [She still refuses to call it home.]

[San won't say anything else. She'll just show up, staying outside near the door for a while. If no one come's out, she'll swallow her dislike and go in.]

[Katara does, in fact, spot San out the window. She may or may not have been keeping an eye out. But she opens the door and steps out, smiling a little but still concerned because this behavior is somewhat odd.]

Hey, San. It's nice of you to visit.

Hm. [Visit? If she says so. Nervous wolves are different from nervous humans, though. San's fighting the instinct to pace and growl.

Are others in there?

[As much as she dislikes being closed in, it's better now that this conversation happens between just her and Katara. Once inside, though, she doesn't know where to go, even though she knows the layout of the house pretty well.]
