[Ordinarily this would be described as an angry stalk through the village. Inasmuch as girl-wolves can stalk, at least.

Except the stalk is much more of a limp and it's less angry than it is...uneasy. San returned to an empty den. She couldn't even tell how long it had been empty, with no frame of reference for how many days she herself had been ( Read more... )

[When you say Toothless, we are talking adorable black dragon, right? If that is the case, San will stop of her own volition and stare at the thing. ...It almost looks like fascination.]

[San doesn't mind. Animals she can communicate with, often much better than you strange humans. She allows herself to be sniffed, maintaining eye contact with Toothless but standing still. No threat to him.]

In the forest, crippled animals are most often hunted first. They are easy prey, especially for humans.
