[after what probably amounted to a week of sulking in Moro's cave, San is back spying on the village again. She's managed to get up into a snow-covered tree - hoping the furs she wears will offer some kind of cover in addition to their warmth - with a decent view of the central square. ...Really, she's not that well hidden. Feel free to notice her

[Winry's taking a stroll because she was kicked out of the house. Apparently staying inside makes you stir crazy, but Winry just doesn't want to be outside. So she's got a coat too big for her on, and she cruises to where San is. And... is that... a girl in a tree? She walks closer to get a better look.]

[looks right back. Staring really. What do you want human girl?]

[Now Winry's standing just a few feet from the tree.] Hello?

[still staring. Go on, say something useful]

What are you doing up there? [She's pretty sure it's not safe to stay in a tree with all this ice and snow.]

[a shift sends a pile of snow down Winry's way]

[She looks at where San's gaze had been.] The villagers? [Winry tries to understand what in the world is going through this girl's head, but before her thought process gets to far that snow hits her head.] Hey!

[you'll get no apology, but it's clear she didn't do it intentionally]

[Winry looks up at her and frowns.] You could break your neck by being up there, you know.

[and she could break Winry's if she came down there]

Is there a reason you wanted to talk to me?

[It's highly likely. Winry was just concerned for San's safety, but she's not liking her attitude. Instead of starting a fight, she turns to head home. Maybe if it was warmer she'd argue.] No, never mind.

[that's that, then. San comes down from the tree but slips at the very end, causing a hard landing]

[Winry whips around when she hears San hit the ground. Oh, that did not sound good. She rushes over.] Are you alright?

[oh great. One of the helpful humans. San gets up with a hand to her side but a glare on her face]

I am fine.

[She can't help it, it's in her blood. Winry gives San a once-over and determines she's not fine.] Don't lie to me.

[anyway, the pain's from what the Malnosso did to her, not directly from falling out of the tree]
