Auction: Cross Stitched Item
Okay, so I actually had a whole post written up with lots and lots of links to patterns and pictures and whatnot, and I just lost it so I think I'm just going to give up and make this short and sweet before the power goes out again.
I'm auctioning off a cross stitched item of your own choosing! It can be just loose on the material, or I can have it framed.
Here are two examples of my work that I have on hand (I'm at work right now):
Place Mat & Napkin from a Native American Cross Stitch book
Letters From Nora: Letter N (unfinished... I actually just stuck it on our scanner here at work)
Just pick any pattern you want and send me the link to it, give me about a month, and I will ship it to you. I will ship anywhere, and within reason I think I can manage to pay for the shipping myself.
If you don't know anything about cross stitch and don't know where to look for patterns, here are a few suggestions:
If you like kitties, Calico Crossroads is a great site with lots of cute patterns.
If you're into fairies or pretty ladies in old fashioned dresses (like I am), you'll love anything by Nora Corbett.
If you're into the mythical or fantasy, there's a wonderful site called Nordic Needle.
And finally, for anything video game related, I always look at Sprite Stitch.
