As some of you may have heard by now, Terry Pratchett has been diagnosed with a rare form of early onset Alzheimer's. As you can see, he's upbeat about it, and at this time he's doing just fine, and thinks "there's time for at least a few more books yet." So that's good news. As you can imagine, the diagnosis is upsetting, but we can all hope for the best and keep him and his family in our thoughts.
As for how this affects the 2009 convention, the convention will go forward as planned, no matter what the future holds. nadwcon2009 will have any future news or updates.
