Strange Dream

I had a weird dream where I was stuck on top of this tall building near a highway by the ocean. It was in a heavily developed urban area with gray sprawl all around and the ocean itself was a harbor with docks all around. There was some sort of major disaster with the highways having collapsed and tipped over and me and other people were camping out on top of this building waiting for something. I could see more evacuated people making their way towards our camp and gradually filling with people. I remember becoming desperate as I had no idea how to care for so many people but didn't know if any rescue was coming at all.

This was also an unusual example of me becoming aware of the dream for a second. I could remember wanting to stay asleep so I could find out what happens. But then I woke up.
