Houston and my Aunt Cindy = teh awesome.
Ok, so I just got back from spending the weekend with my aunt Cindy in Houston. It was an amazing trip. I'm so glad that she wanted to bring me down there to see her.
Went through the entire Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, then went to the CAM (also part of the MFAH but it is a current local artist show) there was a little shop an artist had set up there called Bob's Junk, and my aunt bought me a macrome owl from the 70s!!! It is wonderful. Went to a lot of other small local galleries, a couple of openings and just had a weekend full of amazing art! Almost sad to be back in Lubbock, but it is good to be home I suppose.
All in all, it was amazing, I need to find a way to show my aunt just how much I appriciate the fact that she flew me down there. I definatly needed the break and the distraction.
