Overslept this morning, I was suppose to go to Barb's to meet the Mini Aussie bitch that is going to be bred soon. I have to ask myself do I want a puppy. Seriously rearing brushette was an adventure. Corvey is such a nice dog. I should spend my time working with him, the problem is that he is so easy going that it almost seems like I don't have to work with him. I ask and he gets it. Perhaps it is just that I've become more adept at signals and he is a savant.
So I'm glancing at my Amazon wish list culling stuff etc. Then I look at folks I need to gift and then I see that the X husband of a dear friend has linked to my Amazon list. OK so I look. His wish list included ' A Therepist's Guide to Online Dating... Ewwww. This guy hasn't ever been icky it is just like NO. I don't want peeps I know to be out trolling.
z23zowie aka Beth called, apparently last week her mothers home town of Findley Ohio washed away, or at least flooded terribly. FEMA showed up!!??! Made sure that they threw out the couches and were pulling off the base board trim. The flood washed things into the pool ruining the 4K liner that was replaced 2 years ago. She didn't have flood insurance. So this year continues to be very trying for all.
Rachel surprises me all the time. She was talking about the latest Landmark Forum zombie she met. A school veep who dared to suggest that Rachel NEEDED this training. She informed the woman that she wasn't needing any cult training. Oh to be a fly on the wall for that conversation. I hope that her 'racket' was 'authentic' enough to cut that crap in the quick. We went to one of their recruitment 'free seminars' because of a family members involvement, ewwwww. Gee only $650 and you too can be like us. Not one of them was someone I would envy. I think its very sad that Al Franken the eh so so funny liberal derailed the 12 step movements with his character Stuart Smiley. This is the point when I believe many people chose to 'get saved' and 'turned to Jesus' instead of facing up to the reality of their problems. If you work a 12 step program you have to dig up all your own character flaws and make amends to those you hurt. You aren't 'forgiven', you can't pay another $650 as if this were ancient Roman Catholicism with Indulgences.
