Watching my mother and father dance at my aunt's wedding almost made me cry. 31 years.

Off in chicago. There were showtunes, many many showtunes. And cute boys, and alcohol. I don't really have much planned for this week, aside from hanging out with a friend of mine who I used to game with excessively, but haven't met.
I need to find a way to thank bigmosaywhat and listens2kids for giving me the chance to escape from the norm for a while.

on the road to Peterborough for orientation tomorrow. Full day at work, starving. Hopefully tomorrow won't be a waste of time. Staying at Kate's tonight, then up early to be at the school for 830

It's one of those blah days. I didn't sleep very well last night. Off to the gym.

Bison burgers barbecued with maple/apple/beer marinade on cheese buns... oh yes, oh yes indeed!
Since tomorrow is supposed to be the first day in the last two weeks where it's not supposed to rain, to the beach i go! I need to find a good book to read or something.

So... I bought a pair of size 38 shorts yesterday. A far cry from the 44's I was wearing for 6 months or so. They're actually fitting pretty good right now, a bit more snug than I would like, but in another week/week and a half at the gym and I'm sure they'll fit pretty good ( Read more... )
