Just Your Normal Heart Attack
Alright, so I was on YouTube looking at all the things I have missed while I was not on YouTube - and then I saw a Percy Jackson & The Olympians Interview. That was when I thought Wow it has been a while since I have seen anything on that - so I typed the words Percy Jackson on the search engine. Now, I have read all the books and I absolutely love them with a passion, and since I have heard they were making a movie and all, I decided not to get my hopes up too much. So, imagine my surprise when I pressed enter and saw Percy Jackson & The Olympians Teaser. I stared at it for a moment or two before clicking on it.
The video started. My life was put on pause. I thought it was a fan made film. No. Who would do that. Everything was perfect - however, they did not show the characters face. Finally the words : From the director of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and the Chamber of Secrets . . . I did have a panic attack. Then they showed the boys face and the elevator and lastly . . . Olympus. I screamed. It wasn't one of those fan girl screams either - it was an 'oh my god I just died' scream. And it was loud. I almost began crying I was so excited.
The only thing is is that one of my favorite character is portrayed by a black guy - when grover is white! See, it is those little/big things that piss me off when they make a movie. I am still excited though, I am going to go see the movie with Kelly since I got her reading them after I read the first book - and we finished the fifth book at the exact same time, which was really cool. I am also going to drag my buddy Julian along just to piss him off. since a while ago he kept on asking me about the book I was reading, so finally I showed it to him and he got confused with the whole "Olympus being on top of the empire state building thing", so it came to a thing where he actually became angry. It is going to be so cool!
Hopefully Zoe and Katie may go with us - it seems like the type of thing Katie may actually enjoy. I am just so excited and I have no other way to express my happiness other than via LiveJournal. I am still on my adrenaline rush after watching the teaser trailer! I feel so happy and I could scream.
