I am very impressed with Preventer Agent Maxwell; he has not killed anyone yet, and considering the state of affairs here, that is a miraculous example of self-control.
Months of diligent work have cleared out what the miners have called the Windpipe, the main artery that leads down to the massive network of labs and rooms and what seems like endless multitudes of tunnels.
The UESA-L2 seal is everywhere on the technical equipment, banishing any doubts that this was an Alliance-sanctioned experiment in genocide.
It was not necessary to use human test subjects to discover the Plague vaccine during the first outbreak, nor was it necessary to use thousands of infected children.
Someone in the Alliance government knew about this. Someone cleared the space and provided funding.
Hopefully, that someone survived the war, for I have many questions for that someone.
