I pretty much HATE dr. Phil right now.
He just got 1000 (yes thats right... 10 to the power of 3) women to come to his show and wear tshirts that said what they disliked about their body on it. (i.e. thunder thighs, flat chested, droopy eyelids)
He then proceeded to "FIX" a few of them by giving them breast implants or whatever else they needed to 'feel better about themselves'.
THEN he gave all 1000 people a whole crap load of material objects so that they could 'feel beautiful'. These included; shoes, perfumes, a year of free visits to disney world, house robes, purses, and some other crap.
So... 30 000 children die EVERY DAY from PREVENTABLE causes.... why doesnt he give THAT a whirl?
I guess i'm pretty synical. stuff is nice to have. And it's not like IM helping out anyone. i'm no exception.. by all means, i love having and getting things. but i've pretty much been thinking about things like this 24/7 the past couple weeks. Sorry to spread the debbie downer-ness.
