El Presidente!
Well, I am certainly in good spirits; unlike my ill-fated participation as a member of 2004's Dean Machine, Team Go-bama seems poised to push on through the coming months towards Super Tuesday.
I've been kept abreast of the man's speeches, and indeed his oratory skills are his key tool in attracting & assembling people to his cause. I've also read a lot of articles abotu his stance on the issues, and I'll concede his lack of practical experience will require a lot of support form people he begins to ear-mark for cabinet positions. I actually agree with this approach; I think a president should be educated broadly among the areas of government, but also know their limitations & seek out the true subject matter experts to oversee individual elements.
I hope everyone who is on my LJ is excited about someone who's participating in the election, even if it isn't MY candidate. This is the beginning of big changes for America hopefully, so you owe it to yourself to vote for your favorite person. Who do YOU think will be the best leader for our nation? Get out there in November and VOTE!
