Back From The Abyss
Well, I have completed Airman Leadership School and returned to my life as a weather forecaster at last. I missed the office, and the "predictable chaos" that comes with the job. That Mon-Fri 9-to-5 just wasn't doing it for me; classrooms inherently become poisonous when you spend HOURS on end cramming knowledge into your brain.
Work is more or less how I left it. Should be a good summer. Air show, decent weather overall, and a chance to get prepared for taking a class in the fall to complete my Associate's.
Life outside of work is going swimmingly as well. I see my friends once or twice a week, and have been dating someone new recently, at a much staggered pace than what I did in my past. It just feels natural this way. :) We'll see where it goes as I move from spring into summer, but so far the prospects look good.
