Mike pointed out that I don't update here anymore. Not that I needed this pointed out to me, of course. I just don't really use livejournal anymore. Quite frankly, I think my
blog was a lot better anyway. Maybe it's because there I got to do my own html from scratch, instead of just picking out color choices for an already existing "style." Maybe it's because when I was sixteen, I still thought I was important enough to have something to say to strangers. Maybe it's because I wasn't quite as isolated at the time, and thus my communication skills - written as well as oral - were more up to par.
Regardless, I have never once thought of this livejournal as something to take a kind of pride in. Not that I'm ashamed of it of course- that'd be kinda stupid. No, it just sort of... is. Which gives me no real motivation to regularly update.
Don't misunderstand... this isn't some sort of "farewell to the internet, another page is dying" speech. First off, livejournals aren't usually separately visited pages, like blogs, and secondly, there's no one I think I'd really need to say goodbye to with this thing, so I'm not going to be that arrogant.
Nah, this is just a "It's March now, ergo it's been awhile" speech. Whatever that means.
Happy March, everyone.
Damn...that was utterly pointless...
