Is it really worth it? (financial stuff)

Hey guys, I have a REALLLLY long story, so Ill try to keep it short. by the way Im Nathan from Texas.
I aplied, got accepted, then deffered my admission to fordham because I spent a year in japan as an exchange student (at a cost of $9,500 plus living expenses). Then when I got back (in march)after a couple of weeks I got my acceptance all straightened out with fordham.
In april I submiteed my Fafsa and waited 2 weeks before realizing fordham neede a CSS too, so seant that in. then around mid may I got some papers needing tax information from my dad, plus info from my non custodial parent (my mom). So I faxed her her papers, then got my dads taxes sent out.
I called fordham to check and see if they needed my moms taxes, and they said no. I called back the next day just to be sure, again no. Then my mom called (she lives in california) fordham about it and they said no. So she sent her non-custodial stuff in. Then I waited for 2 1/2 weeks before getting a letter saying they needed her taxes. So we got a little mad, but sent them in, and I called fordham to ask if there was ANYTHING else and they said no. So waited another 2 weeks before getting a letter saying my dad hadnt signed a tax form, so now mad we faxed that in 2 minutes, then called to see if THAT was all, and they said yes. So ANOTHER 2 weeks later got a letter saying they needed MY tax stuff (I earned $300 last year at mcdonalds) but I didnt do any taxes. And it would take mcdonalds at least 30 days to get my w-2s or whatever, so I called and said there was a mistake, and I didnt work last year, so they said that was fine.
Here is where I cut in to say I have a brother in college, and in a year my 2 younger sibblings will begin college. Plus the whole divorced parents thing, so my brother and I fly to california a couple times a year. And I got an offer from seton hall (private catholic school near newark) for $18,000 dollars a year.
So I didnt find out till early july that my offer was 3,500 bux in loans. So Id have more than 100,000 dolars in student loans, if I went to fordham. Then I sent a VERY agressive letter of reassesment. About 10 days later I got a call from fordham asking for the awards letter from seton hall, so I sent that the 18th of July and am still waiting.
SO now my questions are... Is Fordham REALLY worth all this? It would be a dream come true to go, but I just cat afford it. And also, how is fordham on giving out financial aid? Any advice would help too. so,sorry for the extremely long post and thanks in advance.
