(no subject)
Not a whole lot going on with me... I worked the weekend, which seemed long. I hate the Sunday shift I work, 9am-6:30pm. Just seems like longer than 9 hours. I did enjoy Friday night, hanging out with Eric. We went to what is called "First Friday" at the Cottonwood Art School downtown. There were a ton of people there when we got there but a lot of interesting art for sale and for viewing. The least expensive piece I remember seeing was $50 and awfully small, the largest piece I saw I think was $2500. There were a couple pieces I would have loved to purchase but definitely out of my price range.
John is back from his week in Hawaii. We both have invited one another over to hang out when we can. Our schedules for work fortunately enable that on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The rest of the week we both are working.
I sent out my resume online to a few places to see about finding a new, better paying job. I applied for the Assistant Store Manager position at Whole Foods. I also applied at Potter Barn, in person, but they don't have any floor positions open, just stockroom. A couple places that I don't recall, though hopefully I'll hear from at least a couple of them! I really would like better pay for a couple reasons... 1. A newer car, 2. To move to the north end. Anything would be good!
