Clinton scandals, just the fax.

someone pointed out that despite the Clinton's many scandals, nothing has ever been found to be "actionable". I think it's worthwhile to have a quoick look at the grand list of scandals and to consider the circumstances under which they were found to be "not actionable". I am not going to include anything that's particularly in dispute, or that isn't a matter of public record. the "clinton body count" for instance is unproven enough to be off the table.

1) Benghazi. Okay, many things are likely in this, but proving any of them is difficult at best. What is *certain* about this issue? That she knowingly lied to the american people about the motives of the attackers. She likely did so to help Obama win re-election. However, since there's no actual *law* against that, not actionable.

2) Wikileaks-election rigging. Emails released by wikileaks show that the primary was rigged against Bernie. They show her campaign using media influence to promote trump over the other republicans, they show her getting the questions in advance of both primary and main election debates, show her campaign staff violating election law, committing voter fraud, and a fair slew of other things. Not actionable because the documents were not legally obtained.

3) serial rape enabling. Bill Clinton has been accused several times of committing rape and sexual assault, beginning with his expulsion from Oxford (back in times when you actually had to do something to be guilty to be punished). On one occasion, the clintons paid out a fairly large settlement. Not actionable for the same reasons a lot of rapists go free, the victims didn't report it in time.

4) Server in her bathroom. This one was a clear violation of HORDES of federal laws. Honestly, literally the only explanation for why this wasn't acted upon is political. She's Hillary Clinton, different rules apply. Spdecifically, none.

5) Chinagate: Selling our best nuclear weapons technology to the chinese in exchange for campaign contributions. Happened. However, it turns out that the president is legally permitted to do this.

6) whitewater: using state funds to enrich themselves. Not actionable because the surviving witnesses all refused to testify. Additionally, the records that went missing from the office of one of the dead witnesses were not discovered until after the trial was over, and this country prohibits double jeapordy.

7) insider trading: She made a single futures trade that was highly suspiciously successful (given that she's not generally a futures trader), not actionable, again, due to the fact that no one would testify against her.

8) pulling the FBI files of political enemies (filegate). turns out, there is no actual law against this.

9) Selling access to foundation donors: Again, no law against it.

10) Millions for "speaking". This is kind of one of the standards. The corrupt have figured out a technically legal way to bribe politicians, after all, if I hire you to speak, and you "coincidentally" support the regulation I want, who's to say that it was a quid pro quo?

11) travelgate: again, funneling federal money to friends. Not provable (again, no testimony), but still happened.

12) pardon gate: Bill pardoned many people that were closely involved with her senate bid, or that gave contributions. Again, no actual law violated.

13) trashing the white house: When the clintons left office, they wrecked the place, causing tens of thousands of dollars in damage. Not actionable because George W. Bush was a gentleman.

So, nothing "actionable"? Sure, just like Bugsy siegel, Meyer Lansky, and Baby Face Nelson. I will give the clintons this: They are competent criminals.
