How does one put into words that which cannot be defined?

How do does one define "best friend"?

Over time that's changed for me,
Just as it has for others.

Right now I think its safe to say,
My best friend is my lover.

I have close friends and best friends and just friends.
I've got friends so close they're family - with all the benefits.

But above all these I have him.
