The scared mood icon comes from having been at the local drive in last night when it was robbed. No one was hurt, but one of the robbing idiots popped off a few shots as they drove backwards up the exit drive. I am not really upset over it, it is essentially no big thing since no one was injured, but my mind does shudder a bit at the fact that two of my children were sitting outside of our car less than a hundred feet from where the shots were fired. The shock over the possibilities of might have beens is bad enough, but my strange ironic brain twitches at the thought that the only reason I was at the drive in when I have been trying desperately to save every penny towards the upcoming Retreat in Joliet, Illinois, was that the adults of our household felt that the children deserved a treat and the trip to the drive in was what we chose to fulfill that.
Dua Netjer (thank God) that they did not get a bullet as a treat. *shudder*
Of course, maybe I am also still shell shocked from one of the two movies that we saw last night. Spiderman 2 was excellent, but the other movie was Catwoman. *enough said*
