Stumptown Comic Fest!
Stumptown is this weekend and I'd loveeeee to go. Kate Beaton will be there, and I'd love love love to get her new book or whatever she has for sale. Erika Moen and Lucy Knisley will be sharing a table again this year, and they also have a joint project I'd love to buy. Don't think it's going to happen though. Going to my parents for lunch tomorrow and lack of funds (Stumptown was $10 to get into last year, plus the large amount of things I bought = brokeness). From what I heard, there will be an "afterhours" at Cosmic Monkey on Sandy sometime after Stumptown is done. If Kate Beaton is there, I'll definitely hit it up.
In other news, day job starts again on Monday. I'll be working for Pendleton Mon thru Weds, and doing the night job the rest of the time. This next week I'll have three shifts of each which = six days of working. Eek! But there's a chance I won't be working every day at Pendleton. It all depends on their workload. If I have to, I'll give one of my night shifts to someone else and one of the girls who's working Saturday day offered to switch me for my Saturday night. Days are great money, but my exhaustion might force me to take her up on it. I'll figure it out by Wednesday when I judge my grumpiness level.
